Extending the Lifespan of Your Exhibit Display
Your exhibit display works hard for you. It gets wear and tear from travel, setting up, tearing down, storage, and trade show traffic. How long can you expect it to last? And how can you extend its lifespan? In addition, the display's basic design and components must remain useful to you if you plan to keep it over a long period of time as well. If your plan calls for using the same exhibit for several years, choose basic pieces that are durable. The finishes must be made to last, and updating elements such as graphics and colors must be easy. A structure of this quality will probably not be the least expensive booth you can buy; but it doesn't need to be the most expensive, either. Just be sure it's sturdy and sound, and of a basic enough design that it can accommodate your changing needs and evolving exhibit designs. A display that can be reconfigured easily is a good choice for a booth you plan to keep for a long time. Exhibits that can be used in both small and large spaces, and arranged for different types of displays and presentations, are a good investment for the long haul. Flexibility is also important if you plan to do only a couple of shows per year to the same audience and market. To give the impression of staying updated, you'll need to evolve your booth a bit for each show. An identical booth at every show won't give customers any reason to stop by. So a sound basic structure that can be designed in many different ways will last you in good stead over a long period.
