How to Make Your Portable Display Sell More

Your portable display can make sales for you long after the trade show is over. Here's how:

Put Your Portable Exhibit to Work
at Your Business

Between trade shows, use your exhibit as a fixture at your business. In your showroom, office, or reception area it can serve the same purpose it does at expos.

Put effective graphics with a clear message on your portable display, and use it as a point-of-purchase stand. Load it with your product and let it capture your customers' attention and interest. Experiment with placing it in different spots to see where it pulls in the most sales.

Or use it as a professional marketing piece that also holds your literature. Brochures, flyers, notices, and business cards will be noticed and picked up by customers thanks to your professional display.

You can also go all out with more extensive message content if your exhibit is set up in a waiting area. Customers will have time to read your message, and it's a perfect opportunity to educate them about your company or products.

Take advantage of the mobility of your exhibit to set it up at local events.

At charitable events, you can donate your time - or material items such as concessions - and operate out of your portable booth. Set it up with graphics that include your company's logo, and it becomes a perfect public relations piece. Everyone wins with this idea - the charity benefits from your time or material donation, the public learns about your business, and you pick up potential customers.

You can also set up your exhibit at local events attended by likely customers. For example, if your business relates in any way to a gathering such as a bridal fair, home improvement expo, gun & knife show, car show, health fair, etc., your display can be the ideal vehicle for picking up new customers attending the event. Have a drawing or give away free samples to attract visitors to your portable booth.
