How a Portable Trade Show Exhibit
Can Save You from Disaster

A portable trade show exhibit can make your expo experience much easier in a number of ways. Because you can control all aspects of its transportation and setup, you won't be at the mercy of people or firms you hire to for those things.

If you're stuck relying on others to ship and set up your displays, all kinds of things can go wrong that are beyond your ability to prevent.

Shipping Displays

Unfortunately, having all or part of your booth go missing during transport is not an unusual situation. Lost freight can show up late - during or after the expo begins - or not at all.

But if you can transport your portable trade show exhibit yourself, you'll circumvent this possible nightmare completely. You won't have to arrange for shipping your portable trade show exhibit, nor deal with the freight company, keep track of your bills of lading so you can trace it if necessary, make a loss claim, or anything like that.

You can simply bring your portable trade show exhibit with you, knowing where it is at all times, and transport it to the expo hall yourself when you arrive.

Damaged Displays

Your portable trade show exhibit is also safer from damage than larger displays that need to be shipped. There are a multitude of opportunities for a booth to be mutilated during transport - especially by machinery such as forklifts.

Booths are also susceptible to harm during drayage. Scratches, punctures, tears, and other accidents happen more frequently than exhibitors like to think.

You could bring a mini repair kit with you to fix up minor scratches and dents, but it wouldn't be able to repair a forklift puncture hole.

Having displays you can bring by yourself alleviates the possibility of this type of expo disaster.

Display Setup Headaches

If you can set up your portable booth yourself, you will be eliminating another potential headache. Paying for a hired crew to set up your display doesn't guarantee a trouble-free setup.

You'd have to direct each person's efforts, put up with the occasional slacker who excels at letting the rest of the crew do the bulk of the work, and translate your vision of the completed booth to the people who put it together for you. Taking everything down again after the show presents another headache.

But your portable trade show exhibit can be put up by you alone, or by you with one assistant. Booth setup is quick and easy, and you're in charge of the whole procedure yourself. Taking down your booth after the expo is just as efficient when you're operating alone or with just one other person.

Standard booths are beneficial in many ways, but they do not guarantee any better expo results than portable booths. And as far as preventing transportation and setup nightmares, nothing can beat a portable trade show exhibit.
